Local and global awards

The Santander X Local Award is a national competition organized in 8 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, UK, Uruguay), designed to identify and award the best university entrepreneurial projects, startups, scaleups and SMEs.

The national winners are directly invited to join the Santander X Global Award, where they will compete to be recognized as the best university entrepreneurial project, startup, scaleup or SME globally.

Also, winners will receive a cash prize, access to Santander X 100, our exclusive global community. Connect with custimers, investors and entrepreneurs, and access other valuable resources to boost your growth.

Create your Santander X user account with your professional email address

Register for the challenge/award

Complete the form with your company or project data.

Notifications and key dates

Your data will be evaluated and you will be notified of the next steps.

We resolve your questions

To register for a challenge/local award you have to access the specific application page for the challenge/local award you want to apply for, and click on the "Register" button. If you are already registered on Santander X, you will be asked to log in, and if not, you will have to register on the platform.

Once you have logged in or registered, you must complete the application form for the challenge or local award you want to apply for. Remember that once completed, you must select "Send application" so that your application is submitted.

Whan you view the landing page for the specific challenge/local award, you will be able to see who it is aimed at and what minimum requirements you must meet to be able to apply. 

Unfortunately you cannot edit your application once you have registered your company.

To get a proof or registration you must go to your profile on Santander X, "NAME" and select "My Programmes". Within this section, you will be able to see the programmes you have applied for and the registrations you have completed. 

Yes, you can enter your company for more than one challenge/award at the same time. Please note that if you win one of the awards, you will not be eligible for another one. 

Once you submit your application, an evaluation process begins where we validate it. If you move on to the next stage, you will be notified via email and you will have to complete the next steps. So, as you go through each stage, you will be notified and contacted.

We receive a high volume of applications for each challenge/award. If you are not selected, it is important to know that your business has been evaluated against a number of criteria by a group of evaluators, and on this occassion, your company has not been selected to move on to the next phase. 

You don't need to do anything. If you are at an advanced stage of the application process, you will already be in contact with someone from Santander and you will be able to notify them of your decision.
